Rules of free competition with no obligation to purchase with prize draw
Air France X Canneseries 2024
Article 1: Organizing company

AIR FRANCE, whose head office is located at 45 rue de Paris, 95747 Roissy CDG Cedex, registered in the Bobigny Trade and Companies Register under n° 420495178, is organizing a competition entitled: 'Air France x Canneseries 2024'.

Article 2: Participants

This competition, which is free of charge and with no obligation to purchase, is open to all natural persons over the age of eighteen, with the exception of members of the staff of the Organizing Company, its affiliated companies involved in the organization or management of the competition and members of their families (same name, same address).

Participation in the competition implies pure and simple acceptance of these rules, in all their provisions, the rules of ethics in force on the Internet, as well as the laws and regulations applicable to free competitions.

Article 3: Terms and conditions of participation

This competition is taking place at the Palais des Festival de Cannes, 1 bd de la Croisette, 06400 CANNES, from Thursday 4 to Wednesday 10 April inclusive.

To take part in the game, simply:

Participation in the company is limited to one entry per person (same surname, first name, e-mail and telephone number) for the entire duration of the event. If a participant enters more than once, only the first entry will be accepted.

Article 4: Designation of the winner

1 winner will be chosen in a prize draw from among the participants in accordance with these rules under the supervision of Maître Astrid DESAGNEAUX, Commissaire de Justice in Paris, 24 rue Marbeuf – 75008 Paris.

The draw will take place at the offices of Maître Astrid DESAGNEAUX, on 12 April 2024 **to be determined by Maître Desagneaux**.

Article 5: Prizes

The winner will receive a prize consisting of:

* On direct flights operated by Air France.

The two return tickets making up the prize must be booked together and used on the same flights operated by Air France. These tickets may only be used by the winner and the person of their choice and are subject to special conditions. Tickets will be booked in Business class according to availability. They may not be changed, refunded or exchanged.

Tickets are excluded from the Flying Blue programme. The beneficiary, if a member of the said programme, will not be able to earn Miles on their trip.

These tickets do not include pre- or post-routings, cancellation and repatriation insurance or any other expenses not specified in the above description. Any expenses not specifically mentioned as included in the prize will be borne by the beneficiary.
Anything that is not expressly provided for in the description above is not, in principle, included in the prize.

In the event of force majeure or in the event of exceptional circumstances beyond its control, the Organizing Company reserves the right to replace the prize won with a prize of equivalent nature and/or value.

The winners may not claim the cash equivalent of the prize won or request that it be exchanged for other goods or services.

The prize is personal, non-tradable and may not be awarded or transferred to one or more third parties.

Air France cannot be held responsible for the physical inability of the winners and the person accompanying them to take the flight due to the irregularity of their travel documents (no visa, no passport or expired passport, etc.).

Article 6: Allocation of prizes

Air France will contact the winner by telephone or email as indicated by them.

If the winner cannot be reached or does not express their intention within 10 days after the announcement of the results or if it turns out that they do not meet the criteria of these rules, their prize will not be awarded and will remain the property of the Organizing Company.

Tickets will be issued exclusively in electronic format.

The travel memo will be sent to the winner by e-mail.

Article 7: Publication of the rules 

The rules can be consulted by asking the agents at the competition venue, as well as online.

Article 8: Responsibilities and rights of the organizing companies

Air France reserves the right to shorten, extend, modify or cancel the competition if circumstances so require, and may not be held liable in this regard.

Likewise, under no circumstances may the organizing company be held liable in the event of disputes with the companies responsible for the prizes offered.

Additions, or in the event of force majeure, modifications, to these rules may be published during the company. They will be considered as annexes to these rules.

Article 9: Termination or modification of the competition

The organizing company cannot be held responsible if, for any reason whatsoever (fraud, computer virus, fire, flood, strike or any other reason) this competition is shortened, modified, postponed or cancelled.

Article 10: Exclusion of a participant

The organizing company reserves the right to exclude any participant who has deliberately cheated. The organizing company reserves the right to carry out all necessary checks on the identity of participants. Any false declaration will automatically result in the participant's elimination from this competition.

Article 11: Acceptance of the rules

The simple fact of participating implies pure and simple acceptance of these rules.

By accepting their prize, the winner authorizes Air France to use their surname, first names and the transfer of their image rights for public relations purposes in connection with the competition, without this conferring on the winner any right to remuneration or benefit whatsoever other than the award of the prize.

Furthermore, the prize offered may not be exchanged for other prizes, for their cash value or for currency of any kind and for any reason whatsoever.

If a person cannot or does not wish to benefit from their prize, they will be considered to have renounced their prize and no new winner will be designated for this prize.

Article 12

No requests (written or by telephone) concerning the competition mechanism, the interpretation or application of the rules, the list of winners, etc. will be answered.

Article 13: Applicable law

These rules are governed exclusively by French law. Any practical difficulty in applying or interpreting these rules will be decided by Air France.

Any dispute relating to this competition must be addressed, in writing only and in French, to:

TAny dispute arising in connection with the competition shall be submitted to the competent Paris courts.

Article 14: Protection of personal data

The personal data collected is necessary for organizing the Competition and awarding the prize to the winner.

n accordance with the French Data Protection Act no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended, each participant has the right to access, rectify and delete any personal information concerning them. This right may be exercised by writing to Air France, which has appointed a Data Protection Officer, who may be contacted by e-mail at mail.data.protection@airfrance.fr

You may also lodge a complaint with the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL) or any other competent authority.
